Most of these movies are available for purchase through the Reel Comments Movie Store, although the Trevor Howard version of Brief Encounter has been withdrawn from ciculation (you might be able to find it on a library shelf). Some of these feature films are available on both VHS and DVD. Each of these movies can be viewed time and time again for great enjoyment and should be shared with your friends.

Adam's Rib was released in 1949 and is a five star movie classic. It is one of the best movies paring Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. They protray a married couple who are both attorneys. They take opposite sides in the same murder case. There is a wonderful supporting cast and a great script. This is a "must see" feature film.

The African Queen was released in 1951. This great five star film shows off the skills of both Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart (this was his only Oscar winning recognition). The stars portray a stiff old-maid, missionary and an earty riverboat captain as they travel down a wild African river and fight the Germans during World War I. John Agee and John Huston wrote a perfect script from a great novel by C.S. Forester.
