EXECUTIVE AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
Executive and employee benefits represent a substantial percentage of the total compensation provided by a company. With costs continuing to escalate, reviewing these plans on a regular basis can save your organization money.
Some of the executive benefits available are:
- Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Programs
- Split Dollar Insurance Programs
- Section "162" Bonus Plan
- Group Life Carve Out
Some of the benefits we address are:
- Group Life and Health Insurance
- Salary Continuation Programs
- Qualified Retirement Plans
- 401(k) Programs
- Profit Sharing Plans
- Pension Plans
Owners spend years of hard work and perseverance building a successful business. Planning that goes into the formula for success often fails to provide contingency options to maintain the business long into the future. The current owners need to prepare for the succession of their operation in the event of retirement, death or disabiltiy.
Some of the approaches we use in assisting business owners in these areas are:
- Buy-Sell Agreement Funding
- Cross Purchase
- Stock Redemption
- Key Person Insurance
- Business Overhead Expense Plans
Following our initial meeting, you and your family will receive a personalized financial resource analysis, which will:
- Review your current insurance planning to achieve sufficient capital in the event of premature death or disability.
- Help you plan to achieve sufficient income during your retirement years.
- Help you plan for your children's education funding.
- Help maximize your investments relative to your risk, return and time horizons.
- Help preserve the capital in your estate at your death.
Poor planning and improper management can greatly decrease the value of your estate. Without a programmed approach to estate conservation and distribution, heirs often are left confused and inconvenienced.
Developing a sound plan involves:
- Conducting a thorough inventory of your assets
- Gathering data to determine your estate objectives
- Developing a "Hypothetical Probate" to illustrate the tax ramifications at your death
- Recommending solutions to achieve your desires in conjunction with your other professional advisors
